Diffusion welding machine (short)

ASSEMBLY
  • Fully automatic welding process for TC tips on drill bit shanks
  • Inductive welding process for different diameters and lengths of drill bits in 4 stations
  • Stamping for drill bit identification and pre-separation of the drill bits and TC tips
  • Nickel sheet is cycled into the laser chamber, lasered out and welded onto the drill bit blank by spot welding
  • Components are relocated to the induction welding system and heated by a coil and welded (areas are cooled by water to dissipate the heat)
CHECK

  • Correct positioning of the TC tips

  • Check OK or NOK of the welding process
