Fully automatic welding process for carbide tips on drill shanks
Assembly of drills with various diameters and lengths in 2 welding fixtures
Pre-singulation of drills and carbide tips
Nickel sheet is fed into the laser chamber, laser-cut, and spot-welded onto the drill blank
Components are transferred to the induction welding system, heated, and welded by a coil (areas are water-cooled to dissipate heat)
Inspection for OK or NOK of the welding process
